Experience
Once I graduated from high school, I decided to join an exchange program that operated in Costa Rica. I completed a few semesters of general studies there and then was able to study the Spanish and Latin American cultures during a full immersion program. Once finished, I decided to move to Costa Rica and operated a business on my own for eight years, as I worked to graduate from the local university. I received a degree for business management with an emphasis on international commerce and completed every course for Spanish that was available. I have a special ability from my experience in Costa Rica and feel that I bring that to my tutoring. I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to tutoring everything from math to statistics and from Spanish to English. I adapt my way of teaching to each of my students so that I can learn that particular student's style. It is imperative for me to see how a student views a topic and then help them apply it to life as they know it. During my free time, I enjoy sports, reading, and fitness.
